WELCOME TO THE RUNNR-79'S MK-08 OS.

THIS VERSION IMPROVES THE USER EXPERIENCE AND FIXES A LOT OF BUGS, FOR MORE INFORMATION READ DOWN BELOW


FIXED BUGS:

  • Fixed some ragdolls will stay in place and just shake.
  • Fixed picking up items in level 2 will create an orb of materials that will hover at a fixed position
  • dOT will now drop materials at the chest of the enemy instead of the feet
  • Fixed the last enemy encounter in level 1
  • Fixed checkpoints sometimes (basically always) not resetting your position.
  • Fixed enemies sometimes not respawning on checkpoint reload.
  • Fixed the gun bobbing continuing for too long after not moving.
  • Fixed beige enemies not stunning
  • Fixed player not being able to degrade dash cooldown
  • Fixed doors opening being able to be heard from anywhere

IMPROVEMENTS / QOL:

  • Changed epilepsy warning from pressing a button to pressing any key and made it skippable in options
  • Added a particle system for different types of damage over time
  • Made the shotgun hit particle glow
  • Made Level 2 feel a bit better
  • Added a thanks for playing screen
  • Made a better level transition
  • Added an option for restarting level / checkpoint
  • You can now use the settings menu in-game
  • Settings menu is now more organized
  • Remade The Tutorial to have alligning textures.
  • Realligned Level 1 (which is the level after The Tutorial) to have alligning textures.
  • Made enemy bullets look better (they still have the same hitbox)
  • Changed melee camera shake to a downward recoil
  • Made sniper enemies' beam glow red
  • Your upgrades now save between levels.
  • Screens of control stations change color when interacting with them
  • Added an icon for the Deep Frier / SHOK-R

MORE CONTENT / GAMEPLAY OPTIONS

  • You now have 12 upgrade points instead of 7
  • Added a boss fight: SMSON.
  • You can now disable flash on enemy headshot kill.
  • You can now select how long a ragdoll will stay.
  • Added an option for vsync.
  • Added an option for fullscreen.
  • Added an option for disabling flash on enemy headshot
  • Added an option for music volume
  • Added an option for skipping the epilepsy warning
  • Added a new grenade, the Galvanator. To find out what it does, play the game.

KNOWN BUGS:

  • Shadows in the tutorial level don't really work. Signifnicance: Small
  • Ragdolls in the tutorial level behave... interesting. Significance: Small
  • Upgrade Points do not safe properly (which is why i made a failsafe button).
  • Significance: Medium
  • Dash duration upgrade is janky. Significance: Medium.
  • SMSON dying is buggy
  • SMSON sometimes just walks into walls
  • Pistol's muzzle flash does not play.

BALANCE CHANGES:

  • Slightly buffed the double barrel shotgun's damage falloff.
  • Increased Impact Grenade's cooldown
  • Made the beige enemies melee attack do more damage
